2018 CED Life Science Conference to be Held in Conjunction with Coulter Investor Forum
The Council for Economic Development is teaming up with the 2018 Coulter Investor Forum to bring two premier venture capital investment events to Raleigh. In February, CED will host its 27th annual Life Science Conference in conjunction with the prestigious forum. The two events will bring together entrepreneurs from our state with life science companies from leading universities, venture capitalists and corporate investors.
The CED Life Science Conference is presented in partnership with North Carolina Biotechnology Center and the North Carolina Biosciences Organization.
“This partnership allows even more emerging life science companies to be showcased and expands exposure for North Carolina entrepreneurs to additional out-of-state investors and industry leaders,” said CED President and CEO Ravila Gupta in a statement.
On its main stage, the CED Life Science Conference will spotlight more than 25 North Carolina companies. Hosted by the Wallace H. Coulter Foundation and Duke University, the Coulter Investor Forum will feature more than 20 presentations from companies representing top-tier universities from across the U.S.
This is the fourth annual Coulter Investor Forum, which was held last year at the University of Michigan in conjunction with the 2017 Michigan Growth Capital Symposium.
More than 1,000 entrepreneurs, researchers and investors are expected to attend the 27th annual CED Life Science Conference. The event will feature thought leadership from keynote speakers and expert panels and will spotlight the Southeast’s most innovative life science companies.
