Did you know we offer a program that teaches you the technical skills needed in biopharma manufacturing?
BioWork is designed to teach you the foundational skills you need to begin a career in biopharma manufacturing. This program is widely used to train and develop process technician roles found in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing companies. The program covers topics such as current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), technology and equipment processes, quality control, general biopharma manufacturing operations fundamentals, and much more.
Program Locations, Dates and Delivery
Participants have the option of taking the certification program at Central Carolina Community College or Durham Technical Community College.
Central Carolina Community College
- Program Dates: May 24 - June 21, 2021
- Delivery: Hybrid; In-person lab Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Registration deadline: April 30, 2021
Durham Technical Community College
- Program Dates: July 7 - September 17, 2021
- Delivery: Hybrid, In-person lab Wednesdays 4 to 8 p.m.
- Registration Deadline: July 2, 2021
Program offered at Central Carolina Community College or Durham Tech Community College
Participation in the BioWork program does not require a science background or prior science training
The tuition and materials costs are covered upon admittance in the program
Upon successful completion of the training, you will increase your job-ready transferrable assets and be prepared to interview with industry leaders like Merck and Pfizer
