Project Administrator, Crop Commercialization
Sarah joined the NC Biotechnology Center in July 2018 as Project Administrator for Crop Commercialization. Her work contributes to the management of initiatives and exploration of value-add specialty crop opportunities for North Carolina.
Sarah previously worked in the agricultural chemical industry where she focused on the value chain and farm management aspects of California and Pacific Northwest specialty crops. Through her experience working with specialty crops, Sarah has worked with corporate specialty crop operations, processors, and retailers. She also has a background in livestock having been raised on her family’s dairy goat farm in Michigan, where Sarah continues to be involved. Sarah received a dual degree from Oklahoma State University with B.S. Agricultural Economics and B.S. Business Management.
