Project Description:
This grant award will allow the Duke Human Heart Repository to purchase a Radnoti tissue/organ bath system, a CryoXtract CXT 353 frozen sample aliquotter, and a nucleic acid isolation robot. These instruments will allow researchers to analyze heart samples at high volume and will allow the use of rare tissue samples by more investigators. These research efforts will advance the understanding of heart disease and the development of treatments for patients with heart disease and heart failure.
