Project Description:
The microbiome of plants, including pathogenic and helpful bacteria and fungi, can make those plants resilient or susceptible to environmental stresses and pests. Researchers at NC State will study stress-induced tomato root exudation to recruit beneficial microbes while suppressing pathogenic microbes.
