Project Description: Our goal is to build a knee arthrometer which is a medical device for measuring the angles of movements of joints. The proposed knee arthrometer will be able to accurately assess knee ligament looseness and integrity in multiple directions of motion in less than 5 minutes with minimal training in the clinical setting. Such a device would be used during a doctor's or physical therapist's physical exam to improve diagnostic accuracy and injury risk screening.
