Project Description:
Innovation in hospital bassinets is urgently needed to improve mother-infant safety and wellness. This BIG grant will support the research necessary to refine the "Couplet Care Bassinet" design, identify regulatory strengths and weaknesses, obtain preliminary safety and comfort data from mother-infant pairs, and explore commercialization of the bassinet.
