Saturday CEO Series: Business Start and Financing

This two-part 8-hour series is designed to help you develop the core of your business. These seminars take you from idea to opportunity. Learn key strategies for starting a business, financing and marketing as well as important information about legal issues, licensing, zoning, operations and more. Realize the importance of a self-assessment and how to evaluate the feasibility of your business idea. Discover the resources available to help you start and successfully operate your business.

Successful completion of both workshops will allow attendees to receive a Certificate of Completion from Alamance Community College Small Business Center, which can be used in your business plan.

Part One (August 18, 2018): Starting a Business

  • How to finance your business

Part Two (September 22, 2018): Marketing and Sales

  • How to find your customers
  • Writing a business plan

10 a.m.-12 p.m.: 1st half

12:15-2 p.m.: 2nd half

Attendees can bring breakfast or lunch, but it is not provided. Attendees may also want to bring their own tablets, laptops, and cell phones with chargers, pens, and notebooks, but they are not required.
