Charlotte Biology and Biotechnology (CBB) Exchange Group presents MicroDNAs, MCMs and ORCs: Tales of Genome Stability featuring Anindya Dutta, M.B.B.S., Ph.D., as part of the Distinguished Speaker Series. Dr. Dutta is the Harry F. Byrd Professor and Department Chair of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. His research interests cover genomic instability in cancer cells and noncoding RNAs in differentiation and cancer.

CBB Exchange Group, sponsored by the University of North Carolina Charlotte and the North Carolina Biotechnology Center, brings faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, as well as technicians and scholars in biology and biotechnology together in the greater Charlotte region for information exchange, and to foster industry and academic partnership, economic development, and professional networking opportunities.

The Distinguished Speaker Series theme for academic year 2017 is Genome Integrity and Cancer Etiology.

Agenda

The presentation will take place from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., followed by lunch and networking with the speaker and participants.
