As part of the Distinguished Speaker Series, Charlotte Biology and Biotechnology (CBB) Exchange Group presents "Temporal Regulation of Base Excision Repair Protein Complex Assembly in Cancer Cells" featuring Robert Sobol, Ph.D

Sobol is Point Clear Charities Professor, Chief of the Molecular & Metabolic Oncology Program, an Abraham A. Mitchell Distinguished Investigator at the Mitchell Cancer Institute. and Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at University of South Alabama.

The CBB Exchange Group, sponsored by University of North Carolina Charlotte and the North Carolina Biotechnology Center, brings faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, as well as technicians and scholars in biology and biotechnology together in the greater Charlotte region for information exchange, and to foster industry and academic partnership, economic development and professional networking opportunities.

The Distinguished Speaker Series theme for academic year 2019-2020 is Genome Integrity and Cancer Etiology.
