Susan Craft, MLS
Susan works to develop relationships with North Carolina’s businesses and entrepreneurs by finding resources that match the individual research needs of each library user. Susan is the library’s first embedded librarian, working on longer term contract-based research projects with external clients. Susan’s curiosity and tenacity drive her to pinpoint the best resources for her clients – the perfect report, the ideal collaborator or the most promising funding opportunity.
Susan obtained her Master’s of Science degree in Library Science from UNC Chapel Hill in August 2012. Before coming to NCBiotech, she worked in the Environmental Protection Agency Library in RTP, where she provided research assistance and support to institutional researchers. She received her undergraduate degrees from the University of Mississippi in English and French, with minors in chemistry and mathematics.
