Triad BioNight is the marquee event for the Piedmont Triad region’s biotechnology community led by the Advisory Committee for Biotechnology in the Piedmont Triad and the Piedmont Triad Office of the N.C. Biotechnology Center. This event attracts several hundred leaders from academia, industry, and government from the region and across the state and features awards to celebrate biotechnology leadership in the region.
Past speakers have included former North Carolina Lt. Governor Beverly Perdue; Jim Greenwood, President and CEO of the Biotechnology Innovation Organization; Dr. Tony Atala, W.H. Boyce Professor and Director of the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, and Chair of the Department of Urology at Wake Forest School of Medicine; David King, Chairman and CEO of LabCorp; Robert (Bob) A. Ingram, General Partner of Hatteras Venture Partners and most recently E. J. Holland, Jr., Assistant Secretary for Administration (ASA), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
