Other Recent Funding Announcements

- NIH Support for Conferences and Scientific Meetings - support high quality conferences and scientific meetings that are relevant to the scientific mission of the NIH and to the public health. A conference/scientific meeting is defined as a gathering, symposium, seminar, scientific meeting, workshop or any other organized, formal meeting where persons assemble to coordinate, exchange, and disseminate information or to explore or clarify a defined subject, problem, or area of knowledge. Deadline: December 12, 2010.
- FDA Small Scientific Conference Program - supporting high quality conferences/scientific meetings that are relevant to its scientific mission and to the public health. Support of such meetings is contingent on the fiscal and programmatic interests and priorities of individual participating Centers. Deadlines: October 15, 2011; January 15, 2011; April 15, 2011; and July 15, 2011.
- NC Biotechnology Center Grantsmanship Training Grant - one-time funding opportunity that provides financial support for grant writing training activities for faculty and staff of North Carolina colleges and universities and other non-profits who are involved in research or programs related to the life sciences. Deadline: 60 days prior to training activity date.
