The North Carolina Biotechnology Center’s library and its research staff provide valuable biotechnology information and expertise to meet your needs.

The staff, trained in biomedical reference and business research, typically provides start-up companies and consultants with information on:

• Product pipelines
• Licensing deals
• Royalties

• Scientific research
• Epidemiological data

The library charges $60 per hour for research work for North Carolina clients and $85 per hour for others, plus database costs. Pharmaceutical product development and patent information usually entail additional costs, but estimates can be provided in advance.
