The Multidisciplinary Research Grant is designed to enhance biotechnological innovation through multidisciplinary collaborations on projects with realistic potential for commercialization and revenue generation. The project must involve North Carolina researchers from three distinct disciplines working together on a complex problem that requires more than one area of expertise to solve.
Although this program is intended to cultivate early stage collaborations on innovative ideas with commercial potential, it is expected that your team will have preliminary data to support the feasibility of the proposed plan of study.
