Liquidia Technologies (Research Triangle Park) received a $2 million award from the National Institute of Standards and Technology Advanced Technology Program to develop and manufacture thin film solar cells based on the company's platform for precision nanomolding.
The award supports innovative research and development projects across a range of technologies including medical diagnostics, alternative energy, transportation and nanotechnology.
Liquidia Technologies' PRINT platform combines photolithographic precision with a scalable continuous manufacturing process to commercialize nano-structured films for novel light management. Liquidia is working with partners to improve light management efficiency across photovoltaic and display applications.
