Laboratory Corporation is rolling out a cancer screening test that is non-invasive. ColoSure is an assay of a bowel movement. The screening includes an examination of DNA. The test is designed for people who are not willing or not able to undergo an invasive exam such as a colonoscopy.
Nearly 150,000 people are expected to be diagnosed with colorectal cancer this year. The annual death toll from colorectal cancer is nearly 50,000.
