Expression Analysis in NIH Pact

Expression Analysis, a Durham-based provider of genomic services for clinical trails and research, has entered into a collaboration with the National Institutes of Health's Immunological Genome Project to provide genetic analysis of the mouse immune system.

The firm's microarray expression services will profile thousands of mouse cells through varying stages of maturation, immune responses and other variables during the next couple of years.

"We approached Expression Analysis because of their reputation in the market," said Dr. Christophe Benoist, Principal Investigator for the project. "We are grateful for their interest in the project and we look forward to an exciting collaboration in this important endeavor."

The NIH-funded Immunological Genome Project is a multi-center collaborative project whose goal is to generate gene expression profiles, and construct genetic regulatory works, for all populations and subpopulations of immunological cells in the mouse.
