CoLucid Pharmaceuticals, a Durham-based biotechnology company focusing on therapies for central nervous system disorders, has closed a $25 million round of Series B financing.
The financing will be used to further develop its migraine therapy, COL-144, along with other drug candidates targeting neurological and psychiatric disorders.
New investor Care Capital led the round, which included previous investors Pappas Ventures, Domain Associates, Pearl Street Venture Funds and Triathlon Medical Ventures.
As part of the funding, CoLucid also added Richard Markham, partner at Care Capital, to its board of directors.
