BioSciences Forum On Tap

The challenges and opportunities faced by people in the life sciences will be discussed on Halloween day, Friday, Oct. 31, during the fourth annual BioSciences Forum at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center in Research Triangle Park.

The event, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., is organized by the BioSciences Management program at North Carolina State University College of Management and co-hosted by the Biotechnology Center.

Featured speakers at this year's forum are:

-- William K. Atkinson, President and CEO, WakeMed Health and Hospitals.

-- Myla Lai-Goldman, M.D., medical director, chief scientific officer and executive vice president, Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings (LabCorp).

-- Paula Brown Stafford, M.P.H., executive vice president, Global Biometrics and Chair, Enterprise Data Council, Quintiles Transnational.

-- Michael D. Kowolenko, Ph.D., senior vice president, Wyeth Biotech Technical Operations and Product Supply.
