The organizer of the successful community effort to build a biotechnology incubator at the Piedmont Triad Research Park is getting ready to launch a new push he hopes will draw international attention to the Triad's biotech scene.
Randy Pool, managing principal at design and engineering firm Stantec Consulting, is building support for a new project he calls the Triad International Bioscience Business Center.
The plan is to provide, at no cost and for up to four weeks, a base of operations including office space, telephone and Internet access for location scouts from foreign biotech companies who are looking at potential sites anywhere in the state or region.
