BRITE Future Hailed at NCCU Dedication

Approximately 200 attendees gathered June 9 to hear North Carolina Central University Chancellor Charlie Nelms lead the dedication ceremonies for the $20 million Biomanufacturing Research Institute and Technology Enterprise (BRITE).

The dedication completes North Carolina's triple crown of biomanufacturing workforce training programs. BRITE and the school's college of science offers a full spectrum of life sciences training and degrees. In addition, research conducted at BRITE will help increase efficiency of drug discovery and biomanufacturing.
