Metrics' Greenville Expansion Complete
A broader spectrum of services was the goal when Metrics began expansion of its Greenville office.
Now that the 47,000-square-foot, $18 million expansion is complete, the company can better support all stages of clinical trials and development for pharmaceutical companies.
The company added four new analytical laboratories, manufacturing space, stable environment storage areas and a microbiology laboratory. The company's current staff of 225 is expected to grow by more than 20 percent.
The growth and investment over time earned Metrics the Pitt County Development Commision's Industry of the Year award in March. It's also been recognized with business champion awards from Business Leader and Wake Technical Community College.
