WE HAVE THE FOLLOWING OPENING: Engineer II / Senior Process Engineer, Downstream Manufacturing Sciences The Downstream Production and Development department is seeking an Engineer II / Senior Engineer. Responsibilities of the Downstream Manufacturing Sciences group include: (1) Participate as a core team member to lead the transfer of new projects into the Downstream Manufacturing Sciences areas, (2) Provide process support and engineering direction to Manufacturing by trouble-shooting and resolving problems with existing equipment, procedures and processes, (3) Provide technical input on the resolution of deviations, (4) Provide engineering guidance for system/equipment design, specifications or modifications, (5) Perform factory acceptance testing, coordinate receipt of equipment/systems and conduct equipment/system commissioning and qualification, and (6) Develop and maintain engineering documentation. Typical Education and Experience BS Chemical Engineering or Biochemical Engineering. A minimum 5+ year’s directly related experience (purification preferred, cell culture & fermentation will be considered). cGMP experience required.
