The 2009-10 grant programs have several changes in funding guidelines.
The details are contained in each program's grant guidelines, so be sure to read them before starting your application.
A summary of the changes:
- Biotechnology Event Sponsorship - No longer a "cash" grant. Funds will be paid upon the receipt of a Technical Status Report. The maximum award has changed to $2,000 and proposal deadlines are quarterly.
- Biotechnology Meeting Grant - Maximum award has changed to $7,500 and proposal deadlines are quarterly.
- Multidisciplinary Research Grant - Applications are limited to invited resubmissions. Institutions that do not have an eligible resubmission may submit one new proposal. Maximum award has changed to $250,000.
- Institutional Development Grant - Applications are limited to invited resubmissions. Maximum award has changed to $200,000.
