Federal Funding Databases

Each federal funding database listed provides a variety of ways to search for opportunities, including keyword searches.

Please note: National Institute of Standards and Technology Technology Innovation Program - to support, promote and accelerate innovation through high-risk, high-reward research in areas of critical national need. Proposals must be submitted in a response to an announced competition. TIP does not accept unsolicited proposals. Must be US owned, single, small-sized or medium-sized company and joint venture doing majority of work in US.

  • Grants.gov - Primary source to find and apply for federal government grants. Grants.gov simplifies the grants management process and creates a centralized, online process to find and apply for grant programs from the 26 federal grant-making agencies. You can also subscribe to the Grants.gov Funding Alert ListServ.
  • SBIR Gateway - Includes news items, funding search services, national/regional conferences, solicitation dates, and partnering opportunities.
