Early Stage Funding: How Are Market Changes Driving Business Model Innovation?

The Biotech Forum is a bi-monthly event run in partnership with the Biotechnology Center. The purpose of the Biotech Forum is to provide a meeting place for entrepreneurs, executives, professionals and academicians actively involved in the biotechnology industry. Each forum consists of a 75 minute panel followed by a networking reception.

Developments in the public markets and the overall global economy are driving changes in how new start-ups get funded and how early-stage companies must run their businesses. Funding for ideas and innovation in the biotech industry has not dried up, and the model for investing is evolving. Join us as this panel of investors discusses the changes taking place in early stage investing, proven strategies for obtaining funding, and case studies of business model innovation that investors are rewarding.

This region is a hub for life science investment, and this panel will bring together industry-leading investors to discuss early stage funding. Join us on June 13, 2012!
