Small-molecule compounds will be developed for treatment of atopic dermatitis and skin thickening/scarring, which are in need of improved treatments. This will be targeted through ion-channels (TRPV4 & TRPA1) which are based on existing anti-TRPV4/TRPA1 compounds that the Liedtke-Lab has developed.
