We proposed a novel BioSorption material to enhance water quality in the US and the World. Our novel material is made of bio-based feedstocks that are generally considered waste materials (shellfish exoskeletons, e.g., shrimp shells) are available and abundant. Manufacturing is simple, resulting in low capital investment and production costs.
