The purpose of the requested funds is for the purchase of the DM100 magnetic hyperthermia system. The equipment will allow for pre-clinical evaluation of magnetic nanoparticles that generating heat when exposed to magnetic fields. The equipment will allow for thermal analysis both in solution as well as within tissues.
