The 7th Annual Biomedical Engineering Symposium will consist of poster and oral presentations covering the medical devices designed by the biomedical engineering senior design students from NCSU and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The focuses of the projects involve a wide array of topics that include but are not limited to: treatment of acute ischemic stroke, neonatal respiratory management, pulse oximetry, global rehabilitation and dural closure. In addition to the oral presentations that will be delivered by each senior design team, poster presentations will be given by individual graduate students from the joint department of biomedical engineering. Each senior design team will also be presenting poster presentations that summarize the results of their work.
