Networking in Southeastern North Carolina

NCBiotech stands ready to help life science professionals maintain vital networking activity, bringing together partners from key disciplines to enrich both work and social life. The NC Coast Clinical Research Initiative, for example, is an economic development initiative strengthening local companies and building connections among area contract research organizations (CRO), physician networks, investors, economic developers, educators and others to bolster the CRO cluster and to enhance physician-led clinical trials.

We host the Advisory Committee for Biotechnology in Southeastern NC, comprised of regional business, economic development, education and research leaders. We also organize symposia and topic-centered forums and action teams in ag biotech, marine biotech and other fields of regional interest. These action teams include company representatives, researchers, educators, economic developers and community leaders.

And we work closely with other organizations such as North Carolina’s Southeast Regional Economic Development Partnership in strategic planning and other activities to maintain cohesion and collaborative potency for the region, focusing on projects important to the region’s long-term economic vitality.
