The March meeting of the NC Biotech Jobs Network kicked off with a welcome by Mike Wilkins, Senior Vice President Statewide Operations and Economic Development of the North Carolina Biotechnology Center. Mike talked about NCBiotech’s mission of economic development in support of North Carolina’s life science industry. He said it was important for the Center to keep a qualified and talented workforce in the state.

On March 6 2013, the NCBiotech Jobs Network teamed with the Industrial Fellowship Program to present NCBiotech Jobs Spring Workshop: Work Styles, Strengths and Skills. Supported in part by the Burroughs Wellcome Fund, the event was aimed at job seekers of all ages and levels of experience. The workshop gave attendees some tools to create a comprehensive job search strategy.
