Kendyle Woodard is responsible for directing all marketing-related activities for the Biotechnology Center including branding, advertising and strategy development.  To assist with company recruitment, Kendyle works to promote North Carolina as a world leader in biotechnology and manages the North Carolina Pavilion at the annual BIO International Convention.

Background

As a marketing professional with more than 15 years of experience, Kendyle has worked in various industries in both the corporate and non-profit worlds. As Nomaco’s  corporate marketing manager, Kendyle oversaw four business units to help increase sales by 25%, and, as the assistant director of the Coastal Conservation Association of North Carolina, managed 17 state chapters and doubled membership.  Kendyle brings her marketing strategy, competitive intelligence, branding and business development expertise to lead the marketing efforts of the Biotechnology Center’s Corporate Communications group.

Her memberships include the American Marketing Association and the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society.

Woodard earned a bachelor's degree in international marketing from the University of South Alabama and received an MBA from North Carolina State University, where she served as a member of the MBA Alumni board of directors for six years.
