Elizabeth Garrard

Elizabeth Garrard supports the work of the statewide operations and economic development program here at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center by developing and implementing special projects specific to the group’s mission to drive statewide life science job growth in North Carolina through company creation, attraction and expansion and the continual development of regional resources.

After graduating from the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health with a degree in environmental health, Elizabeth worked as a research assistant in the UNC Department of Epidemiology studying the relationship between physical activity and parks.
