Corie Curtis

Executive Director, Greater Charlotte Office
Phone number:

Corinne “Corie” Curtis became interim executive director of the North Carolina Biotechnology Center’s Greater Charlotte Office in May 2012.
Curtis, an experienced business and events manager, oversees daily operations of the NCBiotech office she joined in 2011 as regional coordinator.
Before moving to Charlotte, Curtis was executive director of the Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Center in her hometown of Jamestown, New York.
Curtis also held management positions at several companies in Massachusetts and Rhode Island after 11 years in various positions at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, where she’d earned a bachelor’s degree in advertising/communications.

When I recently represented NCBiotech for a life sciences discussion on the Carolina Business Review public television show, my first thoughts flashed to my radio experience as a child:  It was definitely all about the message!
