Chris directs the Biotechnology Center's ongoing facilities operations. His work includes initiating energy conservation, meeting Fire/Life Safety requirements, upgrading and replacing equipment, coordinating Center functions with ongoing maintenance, and contracting the services of more than 30 vendors.
His work at the Biotechnology Center includes managing the construction of the original Center in 1992 and most recently the design and construction of the Center’s Hunt Annex.
He has a Masters in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and 35 years in commercial construction.
