Anna Koltchagova, MBA

Anna Koltchagova joined the Centers of Innovation group in September of 2011.

Anna has extensive experience in entrepreneurial development, sustainability, strategic business development and operations, and regional and statewide economic development. In addition to owning and operating her own businesses, she was instrumental in promoting entrepreneurship education and small business creation throughout North Carolina while working at NC REAL Enterprises, an economic development non-profit organization.

Prior to joining the North Carolina Biotechnology Center, Anna was the Program Manager of the BASE (Business Accelerator for Sustainable Entrepreneurship), a program of the Center for Sustainable Enterprises at Kenan-Flagler Business School, UNC-Chapel Hill.

Ms. Koltchagova earned bachelor's and master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Technical University, Sofia, Bulgaria and an MBA from Meredith College.
