Global Plant Biotech Confab Set Aug. 7 & 8 in Raleigh

For the second year in a row, North Carolina’s agricultural biotechnology star power will draw global leaders in plant science to Raleigh for a two-day conference.

Co-sponsored by the North Carolina Biotechnology Center, the Informa Life Sciences 2013 Plant Biotechnology USA conference will be held August 7 and 8 at the Marriott City Center.

The keynote opening features Bob Reiter, Ph.D., Monsanto vice president of biotechnology, who will discuss the major opportunities, threats and challenges in ag biotech today.
